Dragonfest Volunteer Opportunities

PRE-FESTIVAL (May 21st - July 4th) - Weekday shifts from 5:15-8:30; Saturday shift times vary.

- Dock volunteers: Helping to load and unload paddlers into baots, and watching for inclement weather changes. http://www.volunteersignup.org/TQF33
- Equipment trailer volunteers: Unloading equipment outside the trailer, and returning it to the trailer after the last paddler returns, handing information to crew managers and collecting any needed paperwork.

FESTIVAL WEEKEND: (July 5th - 7th) - All shift times vary

RACE SIDE VOLUNTEERS

- Docks: Helping to load and unload boats for races.
- Wristbands and Pre-marshalling: Instructing teams for marshalling and checking wristbands.
- Lane Timers: Timing boats through the race.
- Equipment: Supervision of PFD's and paddles, ensuring equipment is properly returned.

BEER GARDENS:

- Server: Taking tickets and serving beverages.
- Stock: Filling tubs for servers.
- Supervisor: General supervision of patrons and gathering empties.
- Ticket Seller: Selling drink tickets.
