Tony became CEO on June 1, 2013 for a 5 year renewable term. He is a management consultant with more than 20 years of experience advising businesses in Lethbridge and southern Alberta. He holds Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant designations. He also has significant experience with several community organizations as a volunteer and is a life-long southern Alberta resident. He says, "Our Library is a key community service in Lethbridge for a really broad group of people, and I see huge potential to not only reinforce that aspect, but build on it. While the skills I can bring to the Library are different from those of the professional librarians, administrators, and support staff, they have already demonstrated their passion for the Library by creating a very dynamic and actionable business plan. I am really excited about helping everyone make the plan work, looking for opportunities to develop new relationships with community organizations, and to have some fun in the process."
