Last week's speaker, Dr. Roy Goldsteyn, spoke of his research into buffalo beans at the University of Lethbridge. Experiments show compounds extracted from buffalo bean leaves have potential to fight a class of cancers that includes multiple myeloma.
Past District 5360 Governor Fran Leggett says that we are going to try and offer RLI sessions 1, 2, & 3 in Lethbridge this year. The sessions will be held on Saturdays.
We have a wonderful opportunity to meet Drew Cahoon and two Ugandan dentists on October 1, 2015. We need two people or families who will each host a dentist for two nights, 29 & 30 September 2015. They will also need to be taken around during the day of September 30, 2015. If you can help with this please contact Don McInnes no later than Sept 17, 2015.
