Stories
This week's speakers are Danielle Tait and Jess Fehr
The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) is a a not-for-profit contemporary art institution located in downtown Lethbridge.

In 2014, amidst plans for growth and expansion, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery was hit with severe provincial funding reductions from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Faced with the threat of cutting staff and programming, SAAG instead worked closely with the City of Lethbridge, Fund Development Consultants, a dedicated staff, and generous volunteers, to launch the first capital campaign in the gallery’s history: Live Art. Love SAAG.

This three-year, $1 million fundraising campaign was launched in January of 2016, coinciding with the gallery’s 40th anniversary. One year in to this campaign and we are seeing record-breaking community support, have maintained and grown our staff and programming, and look forward to our future with optimism, passion, and the vision of a community with arts and culture at its core.

Join Danielle Tait and Jessica Fehr from SAAG’s Fund Development team to hear about the campaign to date and SAAG’s vision for the future.

Exciting 2017 Christmas Fundraiser Opportunity

It will be a theatric play of a Radio show based on "It's a Wonderful Life," complete with Foley sound effects. Thank you, Don Robb, for bringing us together!
