Women in Rotary: March 1, Calgary
This event is an opportunity for Rotarians to invite non-Rotarians to something other than a meeting.  Although it celebrates women in Rotary and also International Women's Day, men are welcome.  Esp. because research shows that when women and men work together, there is a 35% better net return!

So consider attending this celebration and inviting some of your non-Rotarian friends.

Have you ever wanted to be a trained flag person, able to direct traffic?
Here's your opportunity!

Running events in the City are always in desperate need of trained flag people to direct traffic at intersections.
Two events are coming up:  Moonlight Run on the evening of March 8 and the 10 4 on April 12.

TRAINING is available on Tuesday Feb. 25 OR Wednesday Feb. 26, from 6-9 pm.
Take the training ONCE and you can volunteer any time!

Compensation for volunteering at a running event is $15 for a 3-hour shift, paid only for non-profits.

Please contact Karen Collin to sign up for training.
Karen is also collecting names of trained flag people who can be called out in the event of an evacuation
or other such emergency.  A great way to serve our community!
And to wear our new vests!
