Transitioning to A Virtual District Conference 2021

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that along with the support of the organizing committee, I have made the decision to pivot from our original plans to have a districtwide in-person conference to a districtwide virtual conference. This one day event will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Between the uncertainty of the timing of vaccinations and when the Medical Officer of Health will allow us to gather again, I feel that this is the most appropriate decision for our District. The safety and health of our Rotary family is my primary concern as we navigate these unchartered times.

Together we will Navigate a New World guided by inspiring speakers and interactive sessions that inspire and challenge us in doing the impactful work of Rotary. Please stay tuned as we continue to update the District Conference 2021 website in the upcoming weeks. There will be revisions to scheduling, pricing and content as well as information on what to expect the day of the virtual conference.

The silver lining is that now travel and accommodation expenses are no longer a barrier and this opportunity provides an even more inclusive event for more youth and more members of our Rotary family to attend.

Looking forward to seeing you online Saturday, April 17th!

Yours in Rotary Service - Mary Turner, District Governor, 20-21
